We experienced a quick trip to Toronto in June and loved every moment! Since we were greeted with heavy rains in the evening, we decided to forego some items on our tourist “to-do list” and spend as much time as possible exploring the breathtaking features of Hotel X. Best decision ever!
Created by Library Hotel Collection, Hotel X has resort- like features that immediately relaxes you and calms down your internal temperatures. You’ll also get the adventure of a lifetime when you go to the highest points of the hotel and enjoy the popular Skybar lounge.
What I really appreciated about the hotel was the location. When you’re traveling, location is everything and can save you tons of money! You’re conveniently located within minutes of downtown and can explore top attractions in a short period of time.
Searching for tips on the best modes of transportation while you are there? Don’t worry, we got you covered! Hotel X luxury shuttle cars will take you within 5km of the property and pick you up from Union Station which is easily accessible on the Union Express train in the Toronto Pearson airport.

The Lobby
The main lobby is a combination of individually decorated spaces within an open floor plan. Upon entering the hotel and looking around, I felt a sense of gratitude for the luxurious finishings covering the floor to the high ceilings.
Walking up to the front desk was like experiencing a dream movie moment that suddenly came to life. Everything was perfectly positioned and the energy from those around us was welcoming. The wall of leaves behind the staff gave us a scenic sense of nature’s tranquility while we checked in. Once you inhale this enviroment, you’ll never look at a hotel the same way again!

The Room
Hotel X has a standard of luxury for every type of room accommodation. Color-coordinated furniture matched with scenic photography is my type of setting!
We had the opportunity to stay in a suite with a generous living space. This area met my expectations! There are 3 things that are important to me when I stay anywhere.

Reading Material
Like many other Millennials, we walk this earth as entrepreneurs, global citizens, and creatives. It’s important that wherever we are, this side of us is fully expressed. Reading is a way to stay connected to this identity.
The books in my room and throughout the hotel was more than enough to stimulate my literary lifestyle. This is one of the features of the hotel that immediately stand out in comparison to other luxury hotels.
Spacious Bathroom
The covenant Hotel X has the best mix of luxury and ease that is unmatched by any other. When two or more people are traveling, the ability to maneuver around each other while getting ready is key.
Our bathroom was located in the back of our suite, adjacent to our bedroom. The bathroom includes a bathtub that is connected to a glass-encased shower which is perfect for a late night bath unwind and early morning shower refresher! The tile on the floor was the best I’ve seen in any bathroom (stirred up great ideas for bathroom tile in a new home!). You’ll also get a roomy granite counter-top with all the bath amenities you’ll need to make your stay comfortable.
Morning Inspiration
When waking up in the middle of the night or early morning, there is nothing like a scenic view to help realign your mind, body, and spirit. Hotel X rooms are designed to do just that. This was the view from our window that allowed us to crush over the city’s stunning landscape.
The Food
During our one-night stay, we enjoyed Library Club Lounge access. This includes breakfast starting at 6:30 am and appetizers in the evening. After settling into the hotel on a Thursday afternoon, we were ready to choose from a selection of appetizers to hold us over until dinner time.
We had the pleasure of feasting on many filling, finger food options.
This was a great mix of light bites while we enjoyed a local brew and Chardonnay selected by the resident Sommelier. If you are in need of meal course options, no problem at all! Hotel X boasts world-class dining options and 5-star room services selections as well.
Feel The Burn
As a traveling couple, staying fit and balancing our foodie tendencies are of the utmost importance.
Hotel X Sports & Fitness Center has various professional options for you to get the job done. From professional tennis courts, spin classes, and hot yoga, all your fitness dreams will become a reality in one place.
This is definitely a top wellness hotel with tech-focused amenities and incredible fitness experience.
And let’s not forget the kids! Hotel X has a state of the art kids sports and play center. You no longer have to limit your workout sessions worrying about your children not having fun.
